Poly Phosphoric Acid

Polyphosphoric acid can be used as a reagent for cyclisation / ring closures in such reactions as acetylation, alkylation, production of amines, acid amides, cyclic ketones, cyclic olefins or oxygen and sulphur heterocyclic compounds. 

It can be used in the manufacturing of special supported catalysts.

It can be used in the descaling and brightening of metal surfaces.

It is suitable for the drying of gas streams.

It is used in manufacturing phosphates, phosphate esters and the polyphosphorylation of polyols.

It can also be used for the strengthening or fortification of weak phosphoric acid.
